AOT Finale End Date CONFIRMED! AOT Movie Possible?
The Attack on Titan finale and they confirmed so will the attack of titan season 4 anime and manga end at the same time so what's up guys Foxen here let's talk about this masterpiece of a series ending i was going to bring it up in the next manga video or anime review but i've been getting sworn with questions so quick video time do colossal smash like and subscribe and by the way my top anime of 2020 vid is now up that you can watch right after this oh and if you do hear a weird sound in the background hey they just decided to do construction right now but anyway you get an official timeline it's not five percent not three point fourteen percent of the manga no more bs the Attack on Titan manga is ending on the monthly may magazine issue which comes out in April 9th and since some people are confused about how many chapters are left or i guess can't do math. You got four attack on titan chapters guys this does include the one coming out in a few days so take talk this does mean attack on titan won't be officially over in chapter 139 which is actually something i predicted earlier i told you not to expect an even round number corresponding to the manga volumes isayama should have not been giving that any thought at all focus your energy elsewhere for Attack on Titan chapter 139 naturally this number gives you some very obvious symbolism 13 years for the 13-year time limit from the curse of emir and then 9 for the 9 special titan powers or for manga readers 1 3 and 9 all single digits the actual final Attack on Titan volume will be number 34. i'll let you have fun finding any special meaning right there and by the way if you're anime only don't worry as always you're fine here but after the final chapter comes out
I would just suggest avoiding the internet or catching up to the manga now i'm predicting it'll be like when harry potter ended or when baby yoda popped up it's just gonna be everywhere online i guarantee you people are gonna be screaming about it especially if they did not like the ending with the official confirmation coming out you do have a quote from Isayama i've been saying for the last eight years that i'd finished attack on titan in three years and finally it seems like it will be completed it's been a very long time coming and i hope you'll stick with me until the end the editorial team never rushed me to finish the series but i've been continuously asked when will it end thank you for waiting for me i will do my best until the last page so you feel satisfied with what you've read you know i think this is pretty awesome especially the part about isiama not being rushed now when you switch over to his editor you actually hear him saying the opposite that the editorial department was in rush to finish the series so which is it and why even try to rush this for the actual magazine where this runs this is the biggest series no question i'm betting some of the pressure was officially emma and it was actually his editor fighting his battles and my god how long has it been it is going to be a sad day when Attack on Titan is finally said and done are you ready for the series to be over on the bright side you will at least have the attack on titan anime so yeah let's talk about that time to clear up some confusion there well the attack on titan anime and manga end at the same time somehow i still keep on getting the question about the 16 episode count and my mind is blown i recall covering this at least twice likely way more now so about the 16 episodes like i told you months ago which turned out to be right by the way 16 episodes for attackathon in season 4 got confirmed that is 16 episodes so far which has been confirmed for like a month now and there is still more to come which i'm about to get to this actually got confirmed when i told you it would right from the blu-ray info they got available when the first season 4 episode dropped you can actually go to the official attack on titan website to double check yourself at the average pace of around two chapters per episode that means attack attack in season 4 will stop around chapter 122 or 123.
So getting back to the question will the attack of titan anime and manga end at the same time really not a chance there still is a good chunk of the manga to be covered and even if you discount that reality at the current weekly episode pace the attack attack and season 4 anime will end at the end of march which will be episode 16. the attack on Titan manga will then end over a week later in april of course this is all assuming no delays here which by the way for anyone that doesn't live in japan pretty soon tokyo is set to go on another lockdown a very likely lockdown due to the rising cases of rona chan. After the 16 episodes for the season 4 anime you're still going to have 16 or so chapters left to cover but takata and season 4 have a part 2 or whatever they want to call the next anime part will there be some type of high quality ova or a movie you've seen how they like keeping you in the dark about attack on titan use so i'm predicting they won't officially announce the next project in whatever form it takes not until the last episode or two from the 16 you know of between then and now you could be sure that anyone online will be claiming this or that especially leakers who claim their best friend is a MAPPA studio animator's dog but seriously which would you prefer an anime or movie?
This would be to cover the remaining 16 chapters left which would be around 8 episodes given a 2 chapter per episode pacing or if you actually convert that into movie time around two and a half hours give or take for the anime route Attack on Titan season 4 final season part 2 and i really really hope they don't call it part 2 by the way i would personally prefer this i think history and netflix has shown us that it's better to have this weekly series it would give the anime time to generate more hype and build up not to mention attack on titan still being around longer as an anime compared to the movie option the only real benefit i do see for an anime movie would be the potential for higher quality animation overall just due to more resources being put into an actual movie project and then trying to see this from a business point of view i could definitely see why they would want to make a movie the freaking Demon Slayer movie just became the top grossing movie in japan i'm still predicting Demon Slayer gonna switch to a movie format going forward mostly anyway. Given how popular attack on titan is right now it just means an attack on titan movie has so much money potential to be made i definitely don't see Attack on Titan making demon slayer level bags of money but even if you only make a fraction of that that's millions compare that to the pancakes made from low blu-ray sales for a quick look at blu-ray sales and this is on average
Attack on Titan season one over fifty thousand but Attack on Titan season two about seven point four thousand the Attack on Titan season three part one about four point three thousand and then attack on titan season three part two with the god tier animation about three point two thousand yeah as a comparison from the same year 2020 SAO season 3 the final chunk about eleven thousand origairu twelve thousand haikyuu the ova 26 000. re-zero season two over seven point six thousand strike the blood ova over eight thousand and for anyone thinking no one bites blu-rays anymore it's all about streaming yes i would agree that it is natural for blu-ray sales to dip but not to this extreme level also quick disclaimer i will mention the obvious that blu-ray sales are not everything arguably merge sales are more important the problem is that sales figures are not readily available for an attack on titan theater release this isn't even getting into the other potential collabs and merged times that could be possible still i would wager the long-term TV anime would have more merge sales potential especially taking overseas into account but again you just don't have available data to look at.
The major reason i prefer attack on titan to stick to a tv anime versus the movie finale i mean you know the times that we're currently in rona chan is still booming thankfully the vaccine has been slowly oozing out the question remains how the theater situation will be by the end of the year how will it be next year especially in places like the us where theaters are on freaking life support even if the global situation was not a current issue you know the japanese movies have a buffer between release here and anywhere else to my u.s bunnies has demons there hit your theaters yet that is a good example unfortunately i do see money being the top priority for the Attack on Titan production committee i mean that feels largely the reason why takada season 4 got rushed out i'm assuming if there's any type of attack on titan finale movie coming that wouldn't be until next year but imagine if they were trying to rush it out this year they would have told what studio we want you to make 16 episodes and a movie in a year and then wit studio was like alright i'm out by the way go ahead and check out my best anime of 2020 it takes a hell of a lot of work to get that video out weirdly but still i make it for you to enjoy so go watch it but anyway share your thoughts on the situation below are you sad about attacking titan ending do you want a movie go watch my best anime 2020 you're gonna find some anime gems right there subscribe and do hit the bell so youtube sends you new videos and i'll see you guys later!
